Disciplemaking for Workers
Following Jesus in our calling to make disciples is not always easy - especially for those of us in the workplace.
It happens best when we have around us people with the same heart and commitment.
What is Disciplemaking for Workers?
Disciplemaking for Workers is a bunch of people who spend most of their time in the workplace, who have a heart to grow as disciples and disciple makers and who are committed to encourage and support others to do the same.
What is the mission of Disciplemaking for Workers?
To equip and support workers to be disciples and make disciples.
What is the vision of Disciplemaking for Workers?
Renewal and revival - Spirit-filled and transformed people who help to renew their church community and bring Christ to the world around them.
What is the strategy behind this vision?
Spirit-filled and transformed people are people who have a loving, intimate relationship with God, are living in supportive and accountable community and who are using their gifts and resources to serve God and reach out to the world.
Disciplemaking for Workers provides resources and community to equip and support workers to be this kind of person.
What is expected if you are part of this group?
A commitment to practice - putting in place Biblical practices that help us become this kind of person.
A commitment to each other - meeting with one other person on a regular basis (around once a month) and meeting as a group (once a quarter).
